The unicursal Labyrinth was created over 4000 years ago to support man’s inner journey towards the true self. Its making was based on the combination of two very important Sacred Geometry symbols, which represent the whole of creation: the Circle and the Square.

The Circle is, to a certain extent, the oldest of all symbols. Pythagoras, the Father of Numerology, would describe it as the most perfect shape that withholds all and everything emerges out of it. The Circle has no beginning and no end, it is infinite, it stands for non-existence and eternity. Every point of its circumference is at the exact same distance from the center. It is symbolic of Oneness, wholeness, unity, perfection and balance, infinity, the cyclic transformational process of the flow of life, and the Cosmos: it represents Spirit, the universal consciousness, the Cyclic Time and enlightenment – the bringing together of the Divine, the point at the center, and the universal consciousness, the circumference.

The Square is the symbol of Matter and the physical world because 4 points in space bring matter to the existence. The square relates to number 4, associated to the four elements of the physical world: earth, air, water, and fire. Number 4 gives groundedness, stability, density, heaviness, structure, steadiness, strong foundation and order. It represents the Laws of Nature that exist in the physical realm, and how those Laws give us a sense of predictability and security.

As these two symbols come together to manifest the Labyrinth sacred geometrical structure, what comes into manifestation is the emblematic representation of the individual path through life and the outline of the inner spiritual search for the knowledge of the innermost being.

Each of the 11 Unicursal Labyrinth circuits (plus the centre, the 12th aspect) takes us through one of the 12 colours of the Visible Spectrum. These are associated to the 12 levels of consciousness of the Hue-man, the 12 Astrological signs of the Zodiac related to our energetic physical nature, the 12 correlated crystals and the sequence of esoteric numbers from 1 to 12.

Each of them holds an unrevealed mystery and “walking” through each level may assist us in the upliftment of the correspondent vibration of consciousness within us.

The journey through the Labyrinth Sacred Geometry facilitates the contemplative inner process by directing the mind in a modus operandi that allows the individual to meditate, pray and connect with the innermost being and the Source by returning to center.

During this online workshop we will simply traverse our finger along the winding paths of the 11 unicursal IIS Finger Labyrinth to explore the 12 multiple levels of consciousness of our inner nature (Colour, Number, Zodiac and Crystals) to support our rising in consciousness and awakening to a higher level of being.

Walking the Labyrinth is more about the journey than the destination; it is about being rather than doing, integrating body, mind, and spirit into Oneness.
