In The Origin of Colour as a Vibration of Consciousness Part 1, we looked at how colour comes into being as a combination of Light and Darkness - the Yang and the Yin energies - and, consequently, how it manifests as the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Colours in the 12-Colour Wheel.

Colour reflects the vibration of number (wavelength and frequency) as consciousness in matter and, therefore, as colours are part of our living landscape, we can get in touch with their inherent messages through our subtle sensory perception.

The most commonly held metaphysical explanation of the basic meanings of colour and how colour affects us, comes from the Yogis, who related everything to the Chakras and Subtle Bodies.

The Chakras are energetic vortices of energy that, while they penetrate and affect our physical body, cannot generally be seen with the naked eye. Only those who are naturally clairvoyant, or who have spent long periods in spiritual practices are able to detect them.

We have a lot of meanings for each individual colour, but we forget that the source of these qualities is within Nature, because it is Nature that plays a major part in attributing qualities to each colour.

Every day we see again and again in Nature confirmation of existing philosophies concerning the psychology of colour.  Not only that, but studying Nature, which includes our own human bodies, gives us the opportunity to continually make new discoveries and trigger a deeper understanding.

As soon as we begin to study Nature, we realise immediately just how subtly, but effectively, the human psyche and energetic field respond to colour.  As we know, animals and insects recognise colours through sight or vibration: they know whether a plant is food, or poison. Nature and, therefore colour, is around us everywhere, every day, and has many, many messages for we humans.

The aim of this course is to assist us in taking a closer look and find out exactly what Nature can offer us to explain the meanings of colour in order to understand the very deep effect it has on who we are, how we think, and we feel. The exploration of the Colour-Wheel will underline the positive and challenging meanings of the colour vibrations. These given aspects match with what Nature tells us about those qualities, and how the transcendence of duality and separation is hidden within all that is.

• The Human Energy Field and the Extended Chakras System;
• The Transformation of the Consciousness into Matter: Chakras, Nadis, Endocrine Glands and Human Subtle Bodies;
• The Psychology of Colour in Nature: Red, Coral, Orange, Gold, Yellow, Olive, Green, Turquoise, Blue, Indigo, Violet/Purple, Magenta;
• Practical Exercises.
