Human beings often tend to define themselves in relation to their physical existence, while the body can also be observed as a field of energy and consciousness, connected to the Universal Mind through the Chakra System. This vision has its roots in the ancient spiritual traditions of India, in the Vedic texts, in Yoga and in later Tantric developments, where the human being is understood as a subtle organism crossed by energetic channels, centres of force and vital currents.

The Chakra System is closely connected to the network of the Nadis, the subtle channels through which Prana, the Life Force, flows. Through this network, universal energy enters into relationship with the human body, and each Chakra acts as a centre of reception, transformation and distribution of energy between the body, the mind and the subtler levels of being. According to the yogic tradition, the human system contains 72,000 Nadis and 114 Chakras in total: 7 main Chakras located along the spinal column, 21 minor Chakras and 86 micro-Chakras. Of these 114 centres, 112 are located within the body, while 2 are situated outside it, in relation to the higher levels of consciousness.

The word Chakra derives from Sanskrit and means “wheel”. The Chakras are vortices of energy-consciousness, connected both to the subtle levels of the human auric field and to the physical body through the endocrine glands. Their state participates in our spiritual, mental, emotional and energetic well-being, influencing the way we perceive ourselves, enter a relationship with life and manifest our consciousness in the world. Each of the 7 main Chakras is associated with a flower with a specific number of petals, a name, a number, a colour of the Visible Spectrum and a precise area of the spinal column, from the sacrum to the crown of the head. The dominant colour of each Chakra expresses its principal quality, yet within every energy centre the other colours are also present, as internal reflections of its manifestation.

Within each of the 7 main Chakras there are 12 fractal levels of consciousness. This means that every colour is contained as a fractal within the dominant colour of the Chakra and describes a different way in which that energy centre expresses itself in human life, both in its harmonious aspects and in its more challenging qualities. The term fractal was coined by the mathematician Benoît Mandelbrot in 1975 in his work The Fractal Geometry of Nature. A fractal indicates a form that can be divided into parts, each of which reproduces, at least approximately, the structure of the whole. Applied to the language of Colour and the Chakras, this principle makes it possible to understand how the 12 colours are contained within the dominant colour of each individual energy centre, offering a broader and more articulated vision of the levels of consciousness it expresses.

The seminar offers a profound exploration of the meaning of the fractal colours in relation to the 7 main energy centres, providing a panoramic vision and a clear understanding of how Colour manifests in life, on different levels, supporting the process of awakening consciousness. Understanding the role of the colour fractals makes it possible to observe the human body as a wonderful Antenna between Heaven and Earth, capable of receiving, transforming and manifesting the frequencies of consciousness through the living language of Colour.

• Blue – The Fractal Colours of the Fifth Chakra, Vishuddha: Purification.
• Indigo – The Fractal Colours of the Sixth Chakra, Ajna: I Command, or the Command Centre.
• Violet – The Fractal Colours of the Seventh Chakra, Sahasrara: The Thousand-Petalled Lotus.
