Not many people are aware of the fact that the zero is an unexpectedly recent development in human history. Its origin possibly dates back to ancient Mesopotamia where already 4,000 years ago the Sumerian scribes used spaces to underlie absences in number columns even if the first recorded use of a zero-like symbol has been found around the third century B.C. in ancient Babylon and in the Americas around 350 A.D., when the Mayans began using a zero marker in their calendars. These early counting systems did not consider it as a number with its own value, as a placeholder, which only happened in the seventh century A.D. in India.
When we look at the 0, we think it hold no value; it is considered it be the expression of emptiness and the “void”, but in reality it is the representation of God, Spirit, the Divine Light, the Absolute, Unity and the Creative power, yet unmanifested, holding the “potential” of being expressed.
There is a deep difference between a 2 and a 20, a 3 and a 30, a 4 and a 400, etc, and these differences are depicted by the presence of the zeros behind. Zero raises the qualities of a number by a power, but it also adds Divine protection in the numerology chart of a person. It is an energy which can holds us back, and make us feel confused and spaced out if it is not used.
During this one-day workshop, we will explore the qualities of the zero and its meaning when it is placed behind a number. We will also look at the meaning of number 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 in depth in order to understand them in a deeper way in relation to an individual numerology chart, with a specific focus on our own.
