Intuition is the ability to understand something immediately, without conscious reasoning or logical thought. It's often described as a "gut feeling" or a hunch, and it can guide decision-making based on subconscious knowledge and past experiences.

Intuition is not merely a mystical phenomenon — psychological research suggests it is deeply rooted in the brain’s capacity to rapidly synthesize and interpret information, drawing upon patterns, experiences, and subtle cues that may not be immediately apparent to the conscious mind. While the process often seems instantaneous and inexplicable, it appears to be grounded in the accumulation of knowledge, emotional intelligence, and subconscious pattern recognition.

Intuition plays an important role in the process of awakening to the authentic self because it represents the aspect of our being connected with our inner essence. When we speak about intuition, we speak about the guide that comes directly from the Higher Self (or Soul). Our intuition, which we can also see as an inner teacher (IN-tuition), constantly speaks to us, whether we listen to it or not; intuition is that part of us that knows exactly where we have to go and what we must do, that inner voice that is constantly in touch with the Universal Mind and that shows us, at any time, the path of our life and helps us to manifest it.

In the everyday life we are often distracted by the intellect which, through rationality, gives us a personal interpretation of things, almost always strongly judging. Activating intuition in a maieutic way means to stimulate an inner process of self-inner knowledge and understanding.

By embracing mindfulness, seeking diverse experiences, and balancing logic with openness, you can strengthen your intuitive abilities and navigate life’s complexities with greater confidence and grace. The development of intuition is a journey—a process of tuning in, refining awareness, and learning to trust oneself at ever deeper levels. This course aims to be the first step of a long inner journey aiming to provide a comprehensive foundation, a toolkit of practical exercises, and an open space for exploration. TEACHER: Dott.ssa Cristiana Caria – Holistic Professional & Coach, Founder of IIS.

Born in Italy, she graduated with full marks and honour from the University of Bologna in Humanities and Arts. At the age of 14 she had a near-death experience (NDE) as a consequence of a major accident.
